As an Outside Business Development/Sales Representative you will be joining a fun, energetic, innovative, and driven start-up environment. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work alongside established entrepreneurs and proven sales experts who have all excelled in business-to-business capacities. Your cross-functional experience will be imperative to success in the areas of Sales, Marketing, and Customer Experience, and various start-up launch initiatives.


Your Role in Making an Impact:

  • Generate New Business to accomplish individual and team Op Plan goals

  • Research, analyze and prioritize market’s potential

  • Develop new prospects and interact with existing customers to increase sustainable sales

  • Develop written proposals/quotations for current prospective customers

  • Maintain relationships with both existing and new customers through follow up visits

  • Develop short and long sales cycle opportunities.

  • Perform Scorecard Surveys based on the customer’s required visit frequency and evaluate each to assess opportunities for customer improvements and savings

  • Engage with the management team to clearly communicate customer needs.

  • Attend and participate in area business networking, workshops and sponsored events

  • Coordinating sales efforts with sales management, accounting, operations, logistics

Your Road Map to Success One Acre at a Time:

  • Starting with your Sphere of Influence.

  • Start small with bottles and jugs to prove results. 

  • Increase volume for truck load sales year after year (sell 5000 gallons = 1000 acres).

  • Grow a home grown distributor network with one anchor sale.

  • Join local organizations for networking (Hemp Associations, Specialty Crops, Landscape).

 Skills for Success in this Role:

  • Hard-working, goal-driven hunter with a strong entrepreneurial spirit

  • Business to Business cold call sales experience required

  • Interpersonal, time management and presentation skills as well as the ability to develop strong and lasting business relationships

  • Organized self-starter and motivated problem solver

  • Clear and effective communication skills
